Human T cell recognition; inflammation and cancer; type 1 diabetes; function of PPARs
Clinical Interests
Studies of human T cell recognition of human endothelial cells. The research goals of the Bothwell lab are to characterize the development and function of T cells and to characterize mechanisms that affect T cell recognition and recruitment into vascular sites. In addition, humanized mouse models are being established to study type 1 diabetes and breast cancer.
