Biography
My clinical practice largely comprises obesity surgery, surgery for gastroesophageal reflux disease, esophageal dysmotility, gallbladder disease, and hernias of the abdominal wall (inguinal and ventral/incisional). Nearly all surgeries are performed utilizing a minimally invasive technique. Additionally, I am one of few surgeons in the state who perform revisionary (“re-do”) obesity surgeries and revisionary anti-reflux procedures. In 2002, I initiated a Bariatric Surgery program at Yale New Haven Hospital where I continue to serve as the Director of Bariatric SurgeryEducation
